The Tern Vektron Q9 has updated styling, a new colour, and a larger more powerful motor. The folks at Tern have kept an open mind when digesting user feedback from their debut Vektron. The result has been the subtle optimization of an already competent folding electric bike. Not everyone needs the extra power found in the Vektron S10, so the new Tern Vektron Q9 has been upgraded to the Bosch Active Line Plus for up to 270% more assistance and 50Nm of torque.
The 400Wh Bosch PowerPack battery has enough punch to keep the Vektron purring right up a steep incline under a full load of cargo. The updated frame design with a reclining battery creates a lower center of gravity and a better ride.
The last notable upgrade in the model is the Atlas Rack itself. Not only does it have a higher weight capacity and can work seamlessly with Thule Yepp Maxi and Nexxt Maxi child seats but they've adapted the design from their GSD model, allowing you to stow the Vektron in an upright position to save space.
The Vektron Q9 can quickly be adjusted in seconds to fit riders 147 – 195 cm (4’10” – 6’5”) so a single bike can be shared by more than 1 user. Now that's smart!

Review by Lynda D. on 29 Oct 2020review stating Great e-bike and great service from Scooteretti
I was late in the game searching for a folding e-bike and I was so excited to see that Scooteretti was going to get some Tern Vektron Q9 in stock. I ordered one and it arrived sooner than expected. There are some great online videos explaining how the bike works- it’s pretty simple. It has exceeded my expectations. I like that both my husband and I can share it and can easily adjust the seat height and handle bars to fit our needs. I also really like that the bike comes with so many features built in, like the lights, the back rack and fenders. The only thing I’ve changed is the bell - I wanted one that could be heard. I’ve also added a mirror- there’s enough room on the handle bar to do this. Looking forward to getting in lots of trips. I use it for city riding and I’ve already ridden further than I usually do- I laugh at hills and headwinds!
