The Tern HSD P10e is a standout build in Tern's newly redesigned Gen 3 HSD lineup, a compact electric cargo bike engineered to replace a second car for Canadian families and urban riders alike. It pairs the same powerful Bosch Performance Line PX mid drive motor found on Tern's top tier HSD builds with a fully automatic TRP E.A.S.I. A10 derailleur, driven by Bosch eShift, so gears change on their own to match your cadence without a single manual shift. A shorter wheelbase than a standard longtail, combined with a low center of gravity, keeps the bike stable while hauling passengers or cargo, and it still folds down in about 5 seconds for elevator rides, condo storage, or transit connections.
Every HSD P10e is third party tested and certified to UL 2849 for complete ebike electrical system safety and EN 17860 for frame and fork strength at a 190 kg gross vehicle weight rating, matching the same rigorous safety standards as the rest of the HSD Gen 3 range. Not only do they come equipped with UL certification for safety but also provide an ergonomic design that makes them easy to recharge either on or off the bike as well.
Bosch Smart System chargers are handy, lightweight and robust. The housings are designed without vents to protect the chargers from dirt and grime.
All chargers are certified to UL 1012 & CSA 107.2. and can recharge a battery from empty in as little as 3.5hrs!
