The Rohloff Oil Change Kit is specifically designed for carrying out the essential maintenance on electric bikes fitted with the Rohloff speedhub, which should be carried out annually or after 5000km of riding. This process cleans the internals of the hub and replaces the oil inside to ensure shifting performance is never compromised.

Overall easy process for and oil change and straight forward to replace with the kit. Minor annoyance that the bottles are not a cap that the syringe can connect to and therefore requires more removal of the filler hose and making a mess of the hub in the process than is really necessary. Either include an extra tube length or get better bottles for the purpose.
