Kinekt Active

The Kinekt Active Suspension Seatpost is a patented parallelogram-design seatpost that
adds up to 35 mm of vertical suspension travel to virtually any bicycle or e-bike — without
altering your saddle height or pedalling position. It absorbs road vibration, potholes, and
trail bumps through a system of adjustable urethane elastomer springs, reducing fatigue in
the back, hips, and legs so you can ride longer and more comfortably. Built from aircraftgrade 6061 aluminum with Igus bushings and stainless-steel hardware, it is engineered for
durability in all weather conditions including Canada's freeze-thaw cycling seasons.

The Kinekt Active Seatpost is compatible with almost any bicycle or e-bike that accepts a
standard round seatpost. It is available in three diameters — 27.2 mm, 30.9 mm, and 31.6
mm — and two lengths (350 mm and 420 mm), covering the vast majority of road, gravel,
commuter, hybrid, cargo, and electric bikes. If your frame takes a different diameter, a
Kinekt seatpost shim can adapt the fit. To confirm compatibility, check your current
seatpost diameter, which is usually printed or stamped on the post itself, and select the
matching size at checkout.

The LR (Light/Regular) model is optimized for riders weighing 80–180 lbs (36–82 kg) and
is ideal for road, gravel, commuting, and lighter e-bikes. The XR (Extra Robust) model is
designed for riders weighing 80–320 lbs (36–145 kg) and is the recommended choice for
heavier riders, cargo bikes, e-bikes ridden in an upright saddle-loaded position, and
anyone carrying significant gear. For e-bike riders specifically, Kinekt recommends the LR
for riders under 150 lbs and the XR for riders over 150 lbs, to account for the added weight
and seated riding style that e-bikes encourage. Both models use the same preload
adjustment knob and spring-swapping system for on-the-fly tuning.

At Scooteretti, the Kinekt Active Suspension Seatpost is priced from $334.99 CAD (on sale
from $374.99 CAD), with free ground shipping across Canada on orders over $149.
Scooteretti also offers a Best Price Guarantee: if you find a lower price at any authorized Canadian or US retailer on an identical in-stock item, Scooteretti will match it and take an

places to buy the Kinekt Active in Canada

Yes — the Kinekt Active Suspension Seatpost is particularly well-suited to e-bike riders. Ebikes are heavier than conventional bicycles and are frequently ridden at higher average
speeds over urban roads and shared pathways, amplifying road vibration transferred to the
rider through the saddle. The Kinekt's 35 mm of vertical travel and adjustable spring
system smooth out this vibration, reducing fatigue on longer commutes or multi-hour
recreational rides. The XR model is specifically engineered to handle the weight
distribution and riding style of most e-bikes, and the seatpost installs in minutes without
any modification to the frame or drivetrain.

The Kinekt Active Suspension Seatpost is built to withstand year-round riding, including
Canada's cold winters, spring freeze-thaw cycles, and wet shoulder seasons. The aircraftgrade 6061 aluminum frame, stainless-steel hardware, and Igus self-lubricating polymer
bushings are all corrosion-resistant and rated for temperature extremes. However, as with
any mechanical component, Kinekt recommends periodically cleaning and inspecting the
seatpost after exposure to road salt or grit, and applying a light lubricant to the pivot points
as part of regular maintenance. Many Canadian cyclists use the Kinekt Active year-round
on winter commuters and gravel bikes without issue.

The Kinekt Active Suspension Seatpost is backed by Cirrus Cycles' manufacturer warranty
covering defects in materials and workmanship. When purchased through an authorized
Canadian dealer such as Scooteretti, the full manufacturer warranty applies. Scooteretti
also offers straightforward returns on most products. For warranty registration and specific
terms, customers can register their seatpost directly on the Cirrus Cycles website. If you
