The Knog Scout Bike Alarm & Finder is a motion-sensitive audio alarm device that helps deter theft by alerting the bike's owner to possible looting. When the bike that it is attached to is tampered with, the Scout emits a loud 85-decibel alarm- not quite as loud as a helicopter but louder than a truck getting up to speed.
In addition to the Scout's siren feature, when in Bluetooth range a notification is automatically sent to the owner’s iPhone letting them know their parked bike is being disturbed. When the bicycle it is fitted to is not where the owner has left it, it can be quickly located via the ‘Find My’ app on any Apple device.
The device can be discreetly mounted to a bicycle's water bottle braze-ons using Knog's anti-tamper screws for secure attachment. If desired, the security of the device can be advertised by using the provided neon yellow silicone cover.
