Poor customer service

"The Bosch smartphone grip itself is an awesome product — solid build, works exactly as expected, and I’m happy with the item. Unfortunately, the experience with Scooteretti’s customer service was disappointing. After purchasing the smartphone grip, I received an email from one of their sales reps saying I would also need the Bosch Kiox 300 display for it to work. Based on that advice, I ordered it. Later, I found out my dad’s bike didn’t need the Kiox 300 at all. When I contacted Scooteretti to return it, they made me pay for return shipping, which cost me $23, even though the extra purchase was based on their recommendation. If you’re unsure, it’s probably better not to tell customers “you need this” unless you’re confident. That advice directly caused an unnecessary purchase and extra cost. Great product — but the customer service and accountability could definitely be better."

Great phone grip. Unexpected charging issues.

"The smartphone grip is very well built and will keep your phone securely in place over rough terrain and bumps. Integration of the flow app with the mini remote avoids having to touch the phone when cycling. One odd thing is that the wireless charging works, but the wired charging is using a mini usb connector not a usb-c which makes little sense these days. Also charge rate via wired is low, sufficiently low that my Google Pixel 6a does not charge via cable. Other phones, Motorola or Samsung all charge though. Problem solved by purchasing a wireless adapter that connects to the usb-c. But not ideal. Otherwise all good! :)"

Q&A

I want to know if this grip is compatible with a bike that has a Bosh Intuvia 100...
To use the Bosch SmartphoneGrip, you'll first need to convert your existing Intuvia 100 mount to the Kiox 300 mount kit, as the mounting systems are different. You can find the required kit here: 👉 Bosch Kiox 300 Mount Kit – Scooteretti Once the mount is updated, you can then add the SmartphoneGrip, which requires a powered mount to operate: 👉 Bosch SmartphoneGrip – Scooteretti Please note that the Intuvia 100 mount is not powered, as the Intuvia 100 display uses a button cell battery. The SmartphoneGrip, on the other hand, requires a continuous power supply via the Kiox 300 mount.
