Great customer service.

The ordering process was easy and the parts were delivered on time. I was contacted by a staff member to let me know that one item on my order could be delayed as much as a couple of weeks, I opted to cancel that item. They still honored the free shipping even though the new order total did not meet the required minimum amount. I would order from here again.

Works perfectly as designed

You do need to have the Bosch tool to remove original sprocket. Installation is a breeze. I note that the original is offset to align better with the chain, would have liked to see a spacer come with the connex sprocket to help ease the alignment. That said it works on my Haibike AllMtn 7.0. I am easily getting another 20km out of the same battery charge, so more efficient.

Q: I have a 2019 Cube fatbike with Bosch CX motor, 16T chainring and 11-46T 11speed cassette. I would like lower grearing. Can I replace the 16T chainring with a 14T chainring? That would give me 14% lower gearing. Is there a downside?

A: The possible downside is that with a 14 tooth sprocket your potential "peddling" top speed will be 14% less than with the 16 if it matters.

The bigger question is that you said that you have a Cube "fatbike". If you are referring to a 2019 Cube Nutrail E-500 I don't think that a generic Bosch Generation 2 sprocket will work.

Scooteretti can correct me as required but I believe that you will need a propitiatory "Cube/Nutrail/Miranda E-Fat 19mm Modified Offset Chainring".

They are expensive and I don't know if there is a 14 tooth version or if there are any alternatives.

I will be interested to hear what Scooteretti has to say about this...

A: You should be able to do it without any issues. Just make sure you use the same chainring offset on those bikes. We only have the original 16T chainrings available. *Note that these are not the same chainrings as the Bosch Connex ones and are a custom one which you will need to reach out to the store to order one if interested.
